DO YOU OFFER A BESPOKE SERVICE?

Some fine silver or sterling silver pieces can be altered slightly, such as the real leaf jewellery can be made into brooches or bangles. But we do not offer a bespoke item from scratch due to time restrictions, unfortunately Sarah is too busy to take on individual commissions. However you are always welcome to contact her and sound her out about any queries you may have.

DO YOU OFFER REPAIRS?

Sarah cannot carry out repairs to jewellery made by another jeweller, as the quality and durability of the item and sometimes materials are not clear. Some fake jewellery may even be stamped 925 but it is only silver plated and brass or mixed metals underneath, which cannot be repaired. Jewellery bought from other countries will be made to the other country's standards, not the UK's standard.

WHAT IS HALLMARKING?

There is a legal requirement within the UK to have any silver jewellery, weighing over 7.78g hallmarked. Hallmarking also proves the pureness of the metal used,  Happy Days Designer Jewellery uses Birmingham Assay Office to hallmark any fine silver and sterling silver jewellery made by Sarah. It is a legal requirement for anyone selling precious metal jewellery to display the below Dealer's Notices.
